About Dunedin Highland History Day
Dunedin Highland Middle School began participating in the National History Day academic competition in 2010 and we have developed a reputation for high-quality projects within the Junior Division. We've also watched our Highlanders continue their History Day journey in high school, competing in the Senior Division. Our students and alumni have traveled to compete at all levels of the competition, resulting in category winners and special prize recipients.
Our alumni also give back in amazing ways through mentorships and volunteerism. Our school competition ranges over 200 projects from our 6th and 8th grade CGS and STEAM student populations. Alumni return on a yearly basis to judge the Dunedin Highland History Day competition, providing our students with critical feedback that helps them on their academic journey and NHD experience. Alumni also provide additional support and guidance to students competing at higher levels of competition throughout the Spring semester.
